Vision

We seek to be a family of believers fully invested in Jesus, fully engaged in community with one another, and fully on mission to help our neighbors know Him.

Mission

We pursue our vision by forming a Christ-centered community, equipping believers to follow Jesus, and sending them to love and reach their neighbors as Jesus commanded.

Values

  • PRAYER is our first response, not a last resort — In everything we do as the body of Christ prayer is of our first and greatest priority.  A praying community, is a dependent community. (Matt. 6:9-13; 1 John 5:14-15; Heb. 4:16; Mark 11:24)

  • HOSPITALITY — To care for one another and welcome the stranger reflects the heart of Jesus.  May we be a community that shares in His heartbeat (Heb. 13:2, 1 Peter 4:9; Rom. 12:13; Matt. 25:34-40).

  • GENEROSITY as Worship — We live open-handed, understanding that everything we have has been given to us by a good and gracious God.  In response we identify needs and give sacrificially (Acts 20:35; Matt. 6:21; 2 Cor. 9:6-7; Luke 21:1-4).

  • WORSHIP and Wonder — We are in AWE of who God is both privately and corporately. (Psalm 8, 29, 33, 96, 100…)

  • Living as FAMILY — We are God’s sons and daughters which makes us brothers and sisters in Him.  Family doesn’t always agree or get along, but they love one another, serve one another, encourage one another, and forgive one another (John 1:12, Romans 8:15-17, Ephesians 2:19, Ephesians 3:14-15, and 1 John 3:1-2)

  • SERVING Others — Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve.  So we too strive to be a community who serves others in Jesus name.   Starting with leadership down to every volunteer we are servants who lead and leaders who serve (Matt. 25:40; Eph. 6:7-8; Mark 10:45; Matt. 20:28)

  • FOLLOWING Jesus — Jesus invites each of us to walk closely with Him.  Our identity firmly rooted IN JESUS we die to self, take up our cross daily, and follow Him. (Matt. 16:24; Luke 9:23; John 10:27)

  • DISCIPLESHIP — We are committed to becoming and making disciples of Jesus who grow in faith, obedience, and Christlike character. Discipleship is a lifelong journey of learning to live as Jesus lived, love as Jesus loved, and lead others to do the same. We intentionally invest in one another so that every believer is equipped to follow Jesus and help others follow Him.  (Matt. 28:18–20; Luke 6:40; Col. 1:28–29; 2 Tim. 2:2; Eph. 4:11–13)
