Hey pastor Matt here.  Let me cut right to the chase.   I've been doing some version of men's ministry for 25+ years and there's never been "one" way or event that has cracked the men's ministry code.  

I'm sure there are many reasons for this...trust me it's kept me up at night trying to figure it out.  However, at the end of the day I think what's necessary is that there's an invitation to community and fellowship.  

Over and over I've seen men struggle in the silence and the isolation.  I want to see men leaning on the Lord and leading their marriages and families.  


So, that's what this "millionth" reboot of men's ministry is going to focus on.  Don't worry we won't ask you to spill every struggle or feeling you have.  But, our desire is to build and strengthen relationships between brothers and in Jesus.


Join us every last Saturday of the month for breakfast and an encouraging word.  And then stay tuned for ways that you can serve one another and grow in your faith as a man.

This Year's Speaker Profile

JP Jones


Dr. JP Jones has served the local church as a Teaching Pastor, Church Planter, and Senior Pastor for over 30 years. With a doctorate in Theology and Apologetics, JP speaks with biblical depth and an engaging evangelistic passion. For over 25 years, JP has been on the Adjunct Faculty for Biola University, teaching classes in Theology and Christian Ministry. His radio program and podcast, "Truth that Changes Lives," is listened to in all 50 states and 162 countries worldwide. JP is a popular speaker at men's retreats, couples' conferences, family camps, and evangelistic events. He is the author of numerous small group studies and books, including "Facing Goliath," published by Baker Books. JP and his wife, Donna, have three children and six grandchildren. JP is a former college athlete who loves hanging with his family at the beach, working out, and enjoying a great cup of coffee.

Men's Retreat At Cannon Beach Conference Center

We have been attending Men's Retreat at Cannon Beach Conference Center for over 20 years.  Each year we are blessed to hear from an engaging speaker, enjoy powerful worship together, and of course enjoy the delicious food!  It also doesn't hurt that we get to wake up to the amazing ocean roar just outside our windows.


I realize getting away with other men isn't high on the priority list for most guys.  We understand.  However, if we could encourage you, even a little bit, it's well worth your time and financial investment.  As men, we can't do life on our own.  It's often the enemies number one tactic to have us believe that we can.  And if you've been trying to do life on your own I can imagine it's been challenging at times.
