Matt is the lead pastor at Clatskanie Community Church and has been serving at CCC in various roles for 20 years. He is passionate about seeing people grow in the knowledge and depth of Jesus Christ.
Matt graduated from Multnomah University (formerly known as Multnomah Bible College) in 2002 with degrees in Bible Theology and Speech Communication and finished up his Masters of Divinity back at Multnomah Seminary in 2016.
In working with youth for over 25 years Matt has a deep desire to see youth transformed by the power of God's spirit, that they would take hold of their faith in a real and tangible way, learning what it means to love and serve God.
Matt met his beautiful bride, Anna, during their years at Multnomah and are celebrating 23 years of marriage May (2025).
They have 5 children;
Ben, Aaron, Grace, Leah, and Hannah.
